Our Story
Founded in 2015, Urban Carpet Cleaning was born out of frustration and a desire for better service. I’m David Watson, and after moving into a rented flat in Glasgow, I found the carpets in poor condition.
hired a couple of cleaning companies, but the experience was disappointing—late arrivals, hidden charges, poor results, and a sense that they simply didn’t care. I thought, “Glasgow deserves better.”
With a background in customer service and extensive research into proper cleaning methods, I purchased my first van-mounted hot water extraction unit and started knocking on doors. The first few jobs were for friends and neighbors in the West End, and from there, word-of-mouth spread.
